Jason Wu for Target
T-minus 5 days until designer Jason Wu (aka Mr. I dressed Michelle Obama for Inauguration Balls) premieres his line at TARGET. I wonder if there will be the same website overload as Missoni. Here is a sneak peek!

SAG Awards Fashion: Best, Worst & You Decide
I'm not going to lie, I was little bored with last nights show. Half the winners were not even present! What is that about? There were some great dresses but over all I was not impressed. I really hope the fashionistas step it up a notch for the Oscars.
Eventhough it was a not so major fashion night I am THRILLED with the news that The Help is taking names and kicking ass this awards season. Its rare when a movie is just as great, if not better than the book.
BEST DRESSED
Sofia Vergara in Marchesa
Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera
Natalie Portman in Giambattista Valli
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi
WORST DRESSED
Mayim Bailik
Busy Phillips
Rose Byrne
YOU DECIDE
Zoe Saldana in Givenchy
Emma Stone in Alexander McQueen

I really like the idea of it but it seems a little "themed" considering 'The Descendants' was filmed in Hawaii.

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy
I love everything about this except that the under layer looks like a wife beater.

Emma Stone in Alexander McQueen
This is an example of me being bored...she always WOWs and this just did not wow me.

Lea Michele in Versace
I am just not impressed with her right now and her over posed looks. Also, the abs high slit with satin pumps is a little weird.

What Will They Wear?: SAG Awards
Another exciting Sunday night is coming a 'nigh (as in this weekend) with the SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS. This is close to the top of my favorite awards shows because the actors are celebrating each other AND you get to hear their little "I'm an Actor" speeches at the beginning. Plus--another night of kick ass fashion, just in time for the Spring 2012 Couture shows. Can't wait to see what the ladies will be wearing and who brings home another trophy for their mantel. I'm pulling for the girls of The Help!
EMMA STONE
Nominated for 'Best Cast Ensemble' as Skeeter Phelan in "The Help"

Kitty Flats
My sister in law said she found the shoes for me AND this is them. $600.cat.smoking.loafers. I'm just pissed they are not in orange like my little man. Strange thing is, apparently they are quite popular!
Apparently all the rage with Alexa Chung, Katy Perry & SJP |

A Little Bit of Turkey Fried...
I hope everyone has had a great couple of days...sorry for the MIAness. Its been a little crazy around the office and home!
Mr. R and I had a very eventful weekend. Not ONLY did he and our great friend TP install a garage opener (and it works!) we had a fabulous time with a group of great friends at our house yesterday. Mr. R tried out his new turkey fryer with some assistance and we watched some good football.

A Debutante Hunter Making It Big--Please VOTE!
Meet Miss Sara Frampton, her lovely momma Susan and a few other quality southern ladies in this documentary on a more rugged side of the typical debutante. In a world of white dresses, pearls, red nails and southern proper, these ladies show their meaning of the "call of the wild."
THE DEBUTANTE HUNTERS |
Sara and Mrs. Frampton are dear friends of Mr. R and mine and we were thrilled when they told us about this documentary they had been chosen to film. A talented director named Maria White created this piece and it has been selected to be screened at...drum roll please...SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL! In conjunction with Sundance, there is a competition through Yahoo! known as the YAHOO! AUDIENCE AWARD.
Please take a moment to watch this amazing video and...

Golden Globes Fashion: Best, Worst & You Decide
I was SO excited about the first "real" awards ceremony of the year. The stars came out in full force (however, a noticeably absent Ryan Gosling) and I was a little bored with Ricky Gervais this year. He wasn't as good as last year, almost like he was holding back a little. I was thrilled that 'Downton Abbey' won as well as amazing Octavia Spencer. Who were you rooting for? On to the fashion...
First and foremost I was thrilled to see that Miss Rooney Mara was wearing one of the dresses I picked out on my post from Friday seen here. Some trends this year included sparkly headbands, sheer skirts, yellow gowns and scarlet lips. In my opinion...
BEST DRESSED
Michelle Williams in Jason Wu
Charlize Theron in Dior Haute Couture
Claire Danes in J. Mendel
Emma Stone in Lanvin
Jessica Alba in Gucci
Jessica Chastain in Givenchy
Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen
Heidi Klum
WORST DRESSED
Angelina Jolie in Versace---I think she just looks scary...like evil queen scary.
Lea Michele in Marchesa---I think she would look better on the ice rink rather than the red carpet.
Zooey Deschanel in Gucci---WHAT is with her sideburns???!!!
Jessica Biel in Elie Saab---Victorian Bride????
Madonna in Reem Acra---YUCK.
Natalie Portman in ---She looks washed out and can do better.
Piper Perabo---WAY too big and sheer.
YOU DECIDE...
Salma Hayek---looks great on her body but also looks a little vegas show girl to me...
Evan Rachel Wood---She looks stunning but also a little like a mermaid with feathers...
Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang---No doubt a bombshell but it would be great to see something other than tight.
Julianna Margulies
