2012 Goals


I have never been one to make these grand resolutions but this year I really need to make some changes in my life.  I been very frustrated lately with myself and have felt, for the first time in a long time, that January 1 really does start a new beginning.  Now, don't get me wrong, I have an extremely blessed life filled with love (my wonderful husband, family & friends), relatively good health, and a comfortable lifestyle but some things have just gotten away from me and I intend to change that in 2012.  Resolutions sound so final and I believe a "GOAL" seems more attainable.  


1. IT'S TIME TO LOSE IT.
Yes, the inevitable weight loss goal.  But seriously the poundage has GOT to come off.  I used to be that little teeny tiny girl that would eat anything she wanted and not gain a pound.  Well guess what?  Mid 20s and college hit me.  I'm not sure why I can't get it into my thick skull that I am not a healthy weight anymore.  I'm talking losing 40-50lbs.  I read somewhere that it seems more do-able if you start with 5 lbs and then once you reach that GOAL you say another 5 and then another.  2012 HAS to be the year that I make this happen.  Writing it down and making it public on the internet sure puts more pressure on a gal too!!!  I plan on logging here on the good ol' blog with my weighty updates.

2. GETTING ORGANIZED
Yes another "usual" goal.  But it seriously needs to happen in the Reynolds house.  I get very overwhelmed by the amounts of dog and cat hair AND the amount of CRAPPPP we have in our house (and garage!).  We have been in our house for almost two years and still have boxes to unpack :(

3. KEEPING THE BLOG GOING & GAINING NEW FOLLOWERS
I have absolutely loved my writing time here on blogger.  Its a great way (even if no one cares) to get my ideas, happenings and creative juices flowing.  I plan on finding new ways to reach out to new follower and broadening the blogging horizon.

  1. Weight loss for me too!! I'm trying a cleanse this week to start it off... it's going to be the year of skinny! :)

  2. As soon as this baby arrives I am hoping to get on the fit train. Pre baby I was out of shape, so maybe post baby I can work that out!! If you get organized, come over and get me that way!!!
